Welcome to the Washington University Kendo Club (WUKC).
Kendo, the art of the sword, is an ancient Japanese tradition, stemming from the customs of the Shogunate. Kendo is practiced by millions of people around the world as both a marital art and as a sport. During practices, we use wooden swords and protective armor in sparring matches. The Kendo Club welcomes all students, and no prior experience is necessary.
Weekly practices are in session. For directions, visit the Events section.
